XO - Love Nick

The XO laptop from OLPC via their G1G1 program was our present to Nick for Christmas. This little laptop is such fun...and with updates to the OS and firmware, I was able to get it online in a breeze!

Check out some pix of Nick with his new laptop...hopefully he'll stop slapping around his parents' laptops.

February 2008 - Cancun Redux

Cancun twice in 6 months...but boy was it an amazing trip! Nana came along for this one and it was super fun that she was able to come. Nick was running all over the place and hitting on all the senoritas!

Seven Months and counting...

Hello from the Prine household :)

Nick is doing great :) Seven months old and the "Little Big Guy" is already at 24 lbs...he's wearing clothes for a 24 month old / 2T.

He loves sitting up for long periods of time to play...he can't get into the sitting up position yet, but he's trying :) He's also building up those leg muscles and is standing for a few minutes at a time, when placed in the standing position (see the photos below).

Did I mention that Nick loves chatting? He's a real "Gah gah gah" kinda guy...I swear I heard him say "Dah Dah" a few times :)

Julie and Nick are out of the house daily...whether it's off to Mother Goose, French, Reading Time at the Library, he's a real "mover and shaker"...

To top it off, Nick got his first passport a few months back so that he can be ready for his first trip outside of Canada...We're taking Nick to Cancun during September for a bit of fun and sun :)

June 2007

Well, Nick hit the six month mark with a BANG. He's at a whooping 23 lbs and 28 inches...wearing a size five diddy (sorry Puffy)...His "two front teeth" have popped up and he's been munching on "jars" for three weeks now.

Nick loves being outside with Mama, waving and calling out to the people passing :)

Nick in Ottawa - May 21 to 24, 2007

Nick went on his very first trip with Mama and Papa during May! He visited many of his relatives and even left Harper something special in the "Family Washroom"...
